I Started woodwork as a woodturner while I was still at school, working for lots of teachers making Turned Palm Stands. After leaving school in 1984, I worked full time as a Woodturner for around 4 years (this is after failing woodwork at School). I also Took out the Grand Champion Craft Item in the Mackay Show, 8 out of 9 years running.

Then I got out of the Turning field full time and went working in the Mechanical field, as well as Courier Driving and even working as Storeman, while still keeping my hand in with the woodwork field.

     Then around 2010, I saw a CNC Router for Sale in a Magazine and thought it might be a bit of fun so I bought it, and had no idea how to operate the thing. After 3 weeks of pulling my hair out, I got the thing to carve a name out.

         From there I can now copy things right up to Signatures on Marriage Certifiates, carve out signs, copy pictures and more.
